Brenda J. O’Connor-Marello, CEO and real-time court reporter, is a proud native New Yorker, originally from Plattsburgh, NY, and an Alpha Beta Kappa honors graduate of former Spencer Business and Technical Institute in Schenectady, NY, class of 1994, and certified and licensed through the New York State Education Department.
Shortly after graduation, Brenda joined the freelance court reporting firm of Stephen N. Fiato, CSR, in Albany, NY, where for approximately 16 years she had the pleasure and privilege of working with distinguished local law firms and governmental agencies.
Upon the retirement of the dignified Stephen N. Fiato, CSR, in 2010, Brenda retained the then-current clientele. She assumed the CEO position under the new brand of M-F Reporting, Inc. The court reporting and videography coverage areas were expanded to include all of Upstate New York and real-time transcription was added to the services offered.
As of 2024, Brenda has grown the business to include multiple complimentary conference rooms with videoconferencing, a 24/7 Repository, an exhibit hyperlink, and a Live Deposition, to name a few additional services.A note from the CEO: “I’m proud of the successful company I’ve built, but I certainly didn’t accomplish this alone. The reporters I’ve worked with over the years will forever be cherished for their professional contributions and the close relationships they’ve blessed me and my staff with.”
