IMPORTANT- READ CAREFULLY:
This End User License Agreement (”Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User” or “You”) and Veritext Legal Solutions (“Veritext”) governing your use of the MyVeritext Outlook Plugin (“Software”), which integrates MyVeritext scheduling functionality into Microsoft Outlook
By clicking ”Accept” or using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the Software.
- License Grant
Veritext grants You a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software solely for its intended purpose, accessing and managing MyVeritext information through Microsoft Outlook, subject to the terms of this Agreement. - Restrictions
You agree that you will not (nor permit anyone else to:

- Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Use the Software for any purpose other than as described above
- Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise distribute the Software
- Use the Software in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- impersonate any person or entity, including any of our employees or representatives, including through false association with Veritext, or by fraudulently misrepresenting your identity or site’s purpose
- Violate the privacy of any third party, such as by posting another person’s personal information without
- Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. Veritext and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all associated intellectual property rights. Except for the limited license in §1, no other rights are granted. Your use of the plugin and Service must not violate any applicable laws, including copyright or trademark laws, export control laws, or other laws in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for making sure that your use of the Service is in compliance with laws and any applicable regulations. - Updates and Support
Veritext may provide updates or enhancements to the Software at its discretion. Use of updates is subject to the terms of this Agreement. Veritext may discontinue support at any time without notice. - Data and Privacy
- 5.1 Reference to Privacy Policy: The Software collects and processes Personal Data (as defined below). Use of the Software constitutes acceptance of, and is governed by, the Veritext Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
- 5.2 Roles & Responsibilities
- Enterprise deployments. Where Veritext processes Personal Data on behalf of an enterprise customer, Veritext acts as a data processor and processes Personal Data only on documented instructions from that customer.
- Individual use (AppSource/ Microsoft 365 Store). Veritext is the data controller for Personal Data collected directly from individual end users.
- 5.3 Types of Data & Purpose of Processing
Veritext processes the following categories of data solely to provide Software functionality, support, analytics, fraud prevention, and product improvement:- Outlook message IDs, sender /recipient email addresses, subject metadata
- Calendar event IDs, start/end times, participants
- Authentication tokens and tenant identifiers
- Diagnostic logs and crash reports (non-content telemetry)
- 5.4 User Rights
Subject to local law, you may access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your Personal Data. Submit requests via [email protected] or the web form linked in our Privacy Policy. - 5.5 Data-Breach Notification
In the event of a breach involving your Personal Data, Veritext will notify affected customers and/or supervisory authorities without undue delay and provide details of remediation actions. - 5.6 Data Retention & Deletion
Personal Data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Upon termination of this EULA, account deletion, or valid user request, data will be securely erased or anonymized in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- Communication
For contractual purposes, you (1) consent to receive communications from us in an electronic form via the email address you have submitted or via the Service; and (2) agree that all Terms of Service, agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that those communications would satisfy if they were on paper.Veritext only offers support for this software via email, in-Service communications, and electronic messages. We do not offer telephone support for the Service. - Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically if You fail to comply with anyterm(s) of this Agreement. Upon termination, You must cease all use and uninstall the Software.Veritext has the right to suspend or terminate your access to all or any part of the plugin at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately. Veritext reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
- Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Veritext disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. - Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Veritext be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, lost profits, business interruption, or loss of information) arising out of the use of or inability to use the software, even if Veritext has been advised of the possibility of such damages. - Governing Law
