How will my reporters and videographers be impacted?

Given a similar level of job activity, your subcontractors will earn at least as much as they did prior to closing, in most cases more, as a result of Veritext’s wide variety of work and access to complex litigation and longer depositions with add-on services such as real-time.  They can continue to service the clients that have come to rely upon them, and they will also have the opportunity to service Veritext’s client work.  Our business is growing so subcontractors should continue to have ample opportunity to engage in interesting and lucrative work.

All of Veritext’s reporters and videographers are engaged as 1099 independent contractors, and we follow the various guidelines and rules surrounding 1099 status very carefully.  We interact with our subcontractors through the Veritext Partner Portal, which simplifies and streamlines reviewing and accepting assignments, submitting transcripts, videos, and invoices, and getting paid.
