When AI Takes Action: A legal Ethics Primer for the Agentic Era. A new category of software (the AI agent) plans multi-step work, uses tools, checks its own output, and takes action: it reads your transcripts, computes your deadlines, drafts your binders, and, if you let it, can distribute materials. The capability is real, it is already on legal-industry price lists, and it is exactly as dangerous as it is useful. In this seminar, we will review

    • What can agents actually do?
    • Why is it so hard to trust one?
    • What should you ask before you buy one?
    • What do the rules already require?
