Best Practices for Remote Proceedings

    • Download the getting started guide Veritext Virtual-Joining a Session-Witness here.
    • Two hours before the proceeding, test your connection speed by going to www.speedtest.net . If your speed is less than 10 Mbps on the download or 3 Mbps on upload, you’ll need to find a better location/connection.
    • Veritext recommends that all participants join the session 15 minutes before the start of the deposition.
  • The host (reporter or videographer) will admit you to the virtual room. Please turn off your video and audio until the start of the proceeding.
  • If you have not been admitted into the virtual room 10 minutes before the proceeding, email [email protected] and provide the job number for assistance.
